We do not sell personal information. Private messages are not routinely read; authorized moderators access reported content only when needed for safety, enforcement, security, or law.

3. How we use information
- Provide authentication, membership access, courses, progress, reviews, credentials, community, networking, messaging, and events.
- Process payments, taxes, refunds, renewals, failed-payment recovery, and cancellation.
- Personalize learning paths and help members find relevant campuses, professors, peers, and opportunities.
- Moderate reported content, investigate fraud or abuse, secure accounts, enforce policy, and maintain audit trails.
- Communicate service, billing, safety, legal, and optional product updates.
- Measure reliability, adoption, course quality, and aggregate outcomes; improve the service.
- Comply with law, protect rights and safety, and establish or defend legal claims.
4. How we disclose information
We disclose information to service providers that help operate hosting, databases, authentication, storage, payments, email, bot protection, analytics, customer support, and security. Current core providers may include Vercel, Nhost, Stripe, Resend, Cloudflare Turnstile, Google, and Microsoft.
We also disclose information when you direct us, when profile or community settings make it visible to eligible members, during a business transaction, to professional advisers under confidentiality, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect people, rights, and the service.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, we will update this policy and provide legally required choices before the change takes effect.
5. Private messages and moderation
Direct messages are available only between accepted connections. Authorized moderators may access the specific message and conversation context submitted in a safety report, or access information when necessary for security, support requested by a participant, legal compliance, or credible risk of harm. The service is not end-to-end encrypted, and members should not use it for secrets or highly sensitive information.
6. Retention
We may retain deidentified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify you.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a denied request. You may also manage profile visibility, networking, notifications, blocks, and subscription settings in the product.
Email privacy@schoolofoutcomes.com. We may verify your identity and authorized agents. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is currently no sale/sharing opt-out to process.
8. Cookies and communications
We use necessary cookies and similar storage for authentication, security, preferences, checkout continuity, and core functionality. Optional analytics or advertising cookies, if introduced, will be governed by an appropriate consent mechanism. You can unsubscribe from non-essential marketing email; billing, security, policy, and service communications may still be sent.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, including scoped access, row-level authorization, encryption in transit, restricted administrative tools, signed payment webhooks, and audit trails. No method is completely secure. Report suspected compromise to security@schoolofoutcomes.com.
10. Age requirement
School of Outcomes is for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact privacy@schoolofoutcomes.com so we can investigate and delete information as appropriate.
11. International use and changes
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. We will use legally required transfer safeguards where applicable. We may update this policy as the service, providers, or law changes. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date and communicated when appropriate.
